How QuickFix Garage Door came to be
QuickFix Garage Door began in 2014 when Kyle Brennan, a garage door technician working in Beaver County, got tired of telling customers their broken spring would be looked at sometime next week. He opened a small location in Beaver, stocked it with the parts he knew he would need, and started answering the phone himself. The idea was simple: schedule the repair promptly, carry the right hardware, fix the door, and be friendly about it. Word traveled.
The Pittsburgh region tests a garage door company in ways flat cities never will. Houses in the city and the older boroughs date back a century, with brick garages down alleys, low headroom, and openings that were never a standard size. Driveways drop off hills, slabs tilt, and doors that were installed level end up dragging on one side. Road salt and freeze-thaw work on the hardware all winter.
